Our Mission
Our Neighborhood Empowered aims to positively impact OKC by providing programs that enable child & adolescent development, which creates neighborhood empowerment.
You know what they say, “It takes a village.”
We firmly believe that it takes everyone in the community to work together to educate, embrace, enrich, and empower the next generation so that each person can thrive. This is what ONE is setting out to do by working with at-risk families in OKC.
Our approach is relational and holistic.
We believe that when we implement this approach, we are able to care for families that find themselves struggling with concerns that go hand in hand with poverty and empower them to take steps to transform their lives.
What We’re Doing
We work within our community to provide much-needed after-school support, summer camps, tutoring and mentoring for kids, and school supply assistance. Our aim is to meet a felt need and have fun with the kids in our community at the same time!
